Build-off Competition
Set up a designated building area with tables and plenty ofbuilding blocks or Minecraft-themed building materials. Have the kids build their best structures within a time limit. You can assign themes like castle, modern house, or underwater base to make it a bit more difficult. You could make the birthday boy or girl the judge or send the parents out of the room and let them vote once builds are complete.
Ender Pearl Toss
Set up a series of targets you could use buckets or hula hoops at varying distances and give each distance a point score. Take turns tossing beanbags or balls (Ender Pearls) into the targets, the player with the highest score after a set number of throws wins.
Pin the Tail on the Pig
A Minecraft twist on the classic party game. Create a large poster of a Minecraft pig without its tail. Blindfolded participants take turns trying to pin the tail you could use a paper cut out, sticker or piece of pink string in the correct spot. Whoever gets closest wins.
