You will need
Stuff the witches hats with tissue so they are solid. Divide the children into two teams and assemble into two lines.
Place each witch’s hat in front of the teams at even distances, usually around 6ft.
Give each child one necklace and one bracelet and tell them that each player has to try and toss their necklace and bracelet around the witches hats.
If the player successfully gets their necklace/bracelet over the witch’s hat the next person can take a turn, if a player misses they must collect their necklace/bracelet before the next player can take their turn.
Fill your pumpkin with toys and sweets, sit the children in a circle on the floor and start playing the music.
Get the children to pass the pumpkin round the circle and when you stop the music the child holding the pumpkin can take a treat out of it.
Keep playing until each child has had a turn, then pick a random lucky winner who gets the remainder of the goodies in the pumpkin.
Stick up a Halloween cut out picture in the four corners of a room. Play some music and when it stops, each child runs to a corner (if you have small numbers you can limit the number of children in each).
The music operator without looking then calls out one corner and the children standing in that corner are then out of the game. Continue to play until there is one winning person left.
Blow up enough balloons for each child and tie a foot long piece of ribbon to each one.
Have each child tie their balloon around one ankle.
When the party hosts shouts GO! Everyone must try to run around and pop each other’s balloon.
If your pumpkin gets popped you are out of the game
